Workshop Technician

Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join their workshop team, offering an exciting opportunity for professional growth and skill development within a global organisation.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor. This role offers the opportunity to participate in the company’s comprehensive Tool Technician Training and Competency programmes, ensuring continued professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining oilfield equipment, including stripping, cleaning for NDT inspection, assembly, pressure testing, and painting.
- Conducting quality control checks on new and used equipment.
- Completing relevant paperwork and documentation related to the maintenance and testing processes.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed according to company standards and deadlines.
Essential Requirements
- A clean Driving Licence.
- Familiarity with the general maintenance and testing of oilfield Downhole Tools.
- A mechanical mindset, with an eagerness to learn new skills and techniques.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and a willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
- A strong standard of education and computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A genuine interest in the mechanics of equipment and a demonstrated aptitude for servicing and maintaining such tools.
Desirable Requirements
- A valid Forklift Licence.
