Description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and looking for a short term art time contract? ASA are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Visitors Welcome Team Member to work alongside one of our clients in the public sector. The role would be 2 set days per week Friday and Saturday 9.50 – 18.15.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Garden Operations: Open and close the Garden, including the John Hope Gateway, ensuring the security of the premises.
2. Customer Service Excellence: Provide a welcoming and inclusive experience for all visitors, upholding our 5-star Quality Assurance standards.
3. Visitor Safety: Ensure the health and safety of visitors by following all procedures and contributing to process reviews.
4. Liaison and Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate seamless daily operations.
5. Enquiry Handling: Respond effectively to visitor inquiries, leveraging knowledge from various departments.
6. Garden Patrolling: Patrol the Garden to protect the Living Collection and ensure adherence to regulations.
7. Incident Response: Provide support for all incidents and emergencies, following established procedures.
8. Event Support: Promote and support RBGE events and exhibitions.
9. Sales Promotion: Enhance visitor spend by promoting products such as maps, guidebooks, and tours.
10. Visitor Donations: Actively encourage donations, memberships, and Gift Aid.
11. Cash Handling: Comply with all cash handling and banking procedures.
12. Administrative Tasks: Perform general administration tasks, including record keeping.
