ASA Recruitment are expanding their team of talented and experienced Support Workers. As a crucial member of our care giving staff, you will provide personalised assistance and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes and day centres. The ideal candidate is empathetic, adaptable, and committed to enhancing the overall well-being and independence of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and organising, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Foster meaningful and supportive relationships with clients through empathetic listening and engaging in social activities.
- Provide companionship to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, care provided, and any relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with the care team, providing updates and insights into client’s well-being.
Requirements:
- 6 months UK Support / Care experience
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- CV covering 10 years work history
- PVG Update required through ASA
- Registration with the SSSC
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility as needed.
- Flexibility to cover Days, Nights and Weekends
