Our client, an innovative and proactive company based in Aberdeen, are looking for a driven and talented Technical Writer to join their expanding Business Solutions Team.

Overview:
This role will primarily focus on enhancing existing web MVC applications and building a user-friendly, cross-platform mobile application using .NET MAUI. You will work closely with the team to integrate solutions with existing systems, ensuring efficiency across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, deploy, and improve software solutions that support business needs.
– Lead the development of mobile applications using .NET MAUI for iOS and Android.
– Work on web .NET Core MVC applications and APIs.
– Collaborate with internal teams and third party providers to scope, implement, test, and deploy solutions.
– Deliver training and reference materials for new software systems.
– Provide ongoing support post go-live and contribute to continuous improvement.
– Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Experience and Qualifications:
– A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or relevant commercial experience.
– 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET, Azure, and mobile programming languages.
– Strong experience in .NET MAUI, C# .NET Core, Entity Framework Core, JavaScript (including jQuery).
– Proficient in Azure technologies, API, REST, Async, and GitHub.
– Strong SQL skills, including transactional queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Competencies:
– Experience in Agile software development.
– Ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities effectively.
– Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
– Demonstrated leadership in mobile platform development and a passion for learning new technologies.
