Senior Technical Architect

Are you a skilled Senior Infrastructure Architect ready to lead transformative tech initiatives in the public sector?

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Architect to develop and implement a 2-5 year technology and integration roadmap. You will ensure alignment with business goals, industry standards, and architectural principles, while providing technical leadership and guidance across infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Planning & Governance: Develop and maintain the Technology and Application Reference Architecture. Ensure lifecycle supportability and integration across systems.
Roadmap Management: Manage the 2-5 year technology roadmap, identifying and addressing gaps, risks, and overlaps.
Resilience, Security & Compliance: Ensure security measures are integrated into infrastructure, and provide technical assurance for projects.
Leadership & Advisory: Lead supplier engagements and provide strategic advice to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Drive continuous improvements and innovation across architecture and integration capabilities.

Essential Criteria:

Technical Expertise: 10+ years in Infrastructure, Application Architecture, and Integration. Experience with hybrid cloud (Microsoft Azure), server infrastructure, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and disaster recovery.
Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of SOA, ESB, Web Services, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
Innovative Thinking: Ability to challenge existing processes and drive efficiencies.
