Senior Carer – Lead with Excellence in St Andrews
Are you an experienced and qualified carer looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Senior Carer to join our team in St Andrews. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead, mentor, and provide high-quality care to residents while working within a supportive and professional environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
· Supervising and supporting carers to ensure the delivery of exceptional person-centred care.
· Administering medications safely and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
· Creating and reviewing individual care plans to meet resident’s needs and preferences.
· Liaising with healthcare professionals and families to ensure continuity of care.
· Promoting a positive, inclusive environment that encourages independence and dignity.
· Ensuring all work complies with health and safety and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For:
· SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (essential).
· Proven experience in a care setting, with a supervisory or senior role preferred.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
· A compassionate and proactive approach to delivering outstanding care.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle complex situations professionally.
Pay Rates:
· Weekdays: £12.95 – £14.05 per hour
· Saturdays and Sundays: £13.95 – £14.70 per hour
Shift Patterns:
· Day Shifts: 08:00 – 20:00
· Night Shifts: 20:00 – 08:00
