Senior Carer – Lead with Compassion and Expertise in Arbroath
Are you an experienced care professional ready to take on a leadership role? We are looking for a dedicated Senior Carer to join our team in Arbroath, where you will be responsible for leading by example, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered to our residents. In this key position, you will manage care plans, supervise a team of carers, and work closely with healthcare professionals and families to ensure that all residents receive the personalised care they deserve. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Carer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering person-centred care, managing daily operations, and leading a team to provide the best possible support to residents. Your responsibilities will include:
· Overseeing Care Delivery: Ensure each resident’s care plan is tailored to their individual needs and preferences, reviewing and updating plans as necessary.
· Medication Administration: Safely administer medication as per the prescribed instructions and ensure accurate documentation of all treatments and medication.
· Team Supervision and Mentorship: Lead and motivate a team of carers, providing guidance, hands-on training, and support to help develop their skills and confidence.
· Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that resident’s medical and care needs are met.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the care provided meets all regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
· Family Liaison: Communicate effectively with resident’s families to provide updates and ensure their involvement in care planning.
What We Require
We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in care and leadership who is committed to delivering excellent, person-centred care. The ideal candidate will have:
· SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
· Proven Experience: A background in care, with prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a care setting.
· Leadership Skills: The ability to lead by example, motivate your team, and ensure high standards of care are consistently maintained.
· Compassionate and Person-Centred Approach: A genuine passion for caring for others and putting the well-being of residents at the heart of everything you do.

Weekdays: £12.95 – £14.05 per hour
Saturdays and Sundays: £13.95 – £14.70 per hour
Shift Pattern:
08:00 – 20:00
