Are you a Senior Business Analyst who has strong Agile working and Business Improvement experience?

Our central belt based client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. The successful applicant will join the Project and Business Analysis department to help deliver 2 high profile workstreams and effectively deliver a set of objectives to help the business achieve their vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and present data, identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
  • Support corporate objectives, e.g., finance, with tasks like process mapping, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain audit trails and assist in tracking business benefits.
  • Identify process improvements and support tactical and strategic solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams, with a focus on exceptional customer experience.
  • Support junior staff development and work with communications to manage change impact.
  • Confidently engage stakeholders and contribute to governance and interdisciplinary teams independently and collaboratively.

Key Applicant Requirements

  • Agile Working & Methods: Support optimal processes, prioritise tasks, and ensure teams use the right tools and methodologies to deliver MVPs.
  • Business Analysis & Improvement: Investigate services, analyse data, optimise processes, and make recommendations for improvements using gap analysis.
  • Business Modelling & Enterprise Architecture: Model complex scenarios across functions, gather insights, communicate with stakeholders, and contribute to the target operating model.
  • Process Testing & Requirements Management: Develop and trace test cases, define requirements, manage scope changes, and assess risks.
  • Digital Perspective & User Focus: Apply digital solutions, collaborate with researchers, and ensure user needs are accurately represented.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build strategic relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate clearly to support change.

Applicants will need to live within commutable distance of either Glasgow or Edinburgh as regular attendance in the office will be required. The role is Outside IR35 and has maximum day rate of £400.
