Role Overview:

As a Product Lead, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of welfare benefit projects and platforms. You will work within a team to ensure your products meet the needs of users, stakeholders, and the wider programme, while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints. Your expertise in agile methodologies and stakeholder management will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management & Delivery: Lead analysis, design, product planning, and delivery on behalf of Product Owners across welfare benefit projects and services.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of product decisions.
Product Planning & Design: Create prioritised product descriptions and delivery plans, ensuring cost-effective solutions to meet user and stakeholder needs.
Research & Decision-Making: Leverage user research to inform key product decisions and drive successful outcomes.
Agile Methodology: Manage competing priorities and deadlines by applying Agile principles within Scrum frameworks.
JIRA & Confluence Expertise: Utilize JIRA for ticket management and project progress, with familiarity in Confluence and Miro boards.

Essential Skills:

Proven experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, successfully delivering complex projects.
Strong relationship-building skills, particularly in Agile development environments.
Expertise in product planning, including RAID management.
Ability to analyse and present complex information to a variety of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly within Scrum frameworks.

BPSS Clearance required for this role.
Experience in product management, ideally within public sector or welfare benefits projects.
