Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to clients, assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and promoting independence.
• Administer medication, including training in rescue seizure medication for clients who experience epileptic seizures.
• Maintain a safe environment for clients, responding swiftly and effectively during seizure episodes.
• Carry out regular assessments and record keeping in accordance with care plans.
• Support clients with social and recreational activities.
• Work closely with families, health care professionals, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

Skills & Experience Required:

• SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification in Health & Social Care).
• Previous experience in a senior support worker role or similar position within health and social care.
• Experience or willingness to be trained in administering rescue seizure medication.
• Knowledge and understanding of epilepsy and the importance of timely and effective interventions.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly and confidently in emergency situations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• A caring and empathetic nature, with a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals.
• A valid driving license is desirable (if required for role-specific duties).
