Oracle Developer
Contract – Inside IR35
Fully Remote Role

Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and modify relational database objects (e.g., Tables, Views, Packages, Triggers, and Indexes) within the Oracle RDBMS environment.
· Build user interfaces using Oracle APEX (up to version 23), ensuring intuitive and effective solutions for internal users.
· Develop and optimize PL/SQL and SQL code for data processing and business logic.
· Develop and manage REST APIs to integrate internal systems with external services.
· Contribute to the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as MS DevOps to streamline development and deployment.
· Collaborate in an Agile environment, delivering solutions incrementally and adapting to changing needs.
· Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business requirements, complies with public sector guidelines, and aligns with overall organisational goals.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
· Proven experience in Oracle RDBMS database development, including designing relational database objects.
· Expertise in Oracle APEX (up to version 23) for developing user-friendly front-end interfaces.
· Strong experience in PL/SQL and SQL, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
· Competency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development and UI design.
· Experience with developing REST APIs for system integration.
· Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as MS DevOps to facilitate automated workflows.
· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing code and collaborating within a team.
· A solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with the ability to contribute to an iterative development process.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
· Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure is beneficial.
· Knowledge of MS DevOps for managing build and release pipelines.
· Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB) is a plus.
· Exposure to MS Power Platform or Dynamics 365 would be advantageous.
· Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, NodeJS) for enhanced front-end development.
