ASA are currently working with a large scale public sector client who are looking to recruit a Learning & Development Adviser for an initial 6-month contract (inside IR35) with possible extension.

You will be part of a dynamic and professional L&D team, supporting learning and development across the organisation. You will use your expertise in learning theory and practice to design and implement innovative learning solutions

Responsibilities include:
· Developing creative and impactful learning solutions aligned with organisational needs.
· Partnering with stakeholders and learning coaches to identify and deliver learning requirements.
· Supporting the implementation of a Content Management System (CMS) for Learning Content Governance.
· Contributing to the skills mapping framework to align with business objectives.
This hybrid role offers flexibility while requiring occasional attendance at both Edinburgh and Glasgow offices to meet the demands of the position.

Key Responsibilities
· Conduct training needs analysis to identify learning requirements at organisational, team, and individual levels.
· Design and develop behavioural and technical learning interventions using blended learning solutions.
· Manage and implement skills mapping across service streams using an agreed methodology.
· Plan, organise, and deliver learning interventions using a project management approach.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of development plans.

Essential Criteria
1. Analysis and Decision-Making:
o Proven ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify learning and development needs at all levels.
o Conduct training needs analyses aligned with strategic and corporate objectives, including behavioural and technical skills assessments.
2. Building Capability for All:
o Experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues to design and deliver learning for their teams.
3. Collaborating and Partnering:
o Demonstrated ability to act as a consultant, managing projects and delivering solutions in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
4. Delivering a Quality Service:
o Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating engaging training programs, including role-based learning and development pathways, in a dynamic environment.
