Do you have 1st and 2nd line IT Support experience?
ASA Recruitment are working with a large Scottish council to recruit an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst. This role is suitable for candidates based within travelling distance to Livingston or Edinburgh.
If you started in this role today you would…
- Analyse diverse supplier support and maintenance services and assist more senior technical staff in the implementation of the most cost-effective solution for all platforms
- Address 1st and 2nd line service desk technical demands arising from the IT Service Desk, IT Service Centre, business as usual activities and project tasks
- Analyse and interpret complex data from various technologies (availability, performance and capacity) deployed by the council and use the information to deliver appropriate support and assist in carrying out root cause problem determination
- Engage with suppliers and contractors on technical issues impacting the IT services, ensuring that the information required to solve problems or mitigate risks is obtained and presented in a clear manner
So, what are we looking for?
- Experience in supporting services in an IT frontline technical environment
- Ability to provide 1st and 2nd line technical IT support
- Analytical skills to comprehend technical reports or system performance information
- Experience in using a system monitoring tool
