Are you highly organised, proactive, and ready to make a difference? ASA are currently working with a large-scale client in the public sector who is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a face-to-face role based in Central Edinburgh, where you’ll play a vital part in supporting the Inquiry’s operations.
Key responsibilities include:
· Providing business support, managing shared inboxes, drafting correspondence, and minuting meetings.
· Organising and preparing meetings and events, handling diary management, travel bookings, and prioritising tasks.
· Monitoring IT systems, reporting faults, and maintaining office supplies in collaboration with the finance team.
· Applying document naming conventions, filing documents appropriately, and adhering to record management policies.
· Supporting reception duties and overseeing catering arrangements when required.
What We’re Looking For
· Strong organisational and communication skills, with a professional and helpful approach to colleagues and stakeholders.
· Experience in using Microsoft Office applications and corporate systems to manage and retrieve information effectively.
· Adaptability, with a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and new ways of working.
· An ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to shared goals while taking responsibility for personal objectives and performance.
