About the Role
As a Housing Property Officer, you’ll support tenants and their families in sustaining successful tenancies. You’ll guide clients through leasing, termination, and void processes while partnering with Housing and Support Officers and external agencies. Your role will be essential in ensuring tenants have access to necessary information, resources, and support to maintain their homes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead tenants through the lease signing process, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish
Provide information on tenant rights and responsibilities, assisting with forms and signposting to online services
Coordinate the management of keys, utilities, and other essential resources to minimise void periods
Maintain accurate records, process payments, and ensure timely updates on tenant and property information
Skills & Experience
Proven ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills for a diverse audience, in both written and spoken forms
Ability to manage public interactions with professionalism and sensitivity
Competency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation and social policy is advantageous

Mon-Fri 9-5 working week
