EPM Delivery and Engagement Specialist
Edinburgh based – Hybrid Working
4 month contract (Outside IR35)
ASA’s Public sector client is seeking an experienced EPM Delivery and Engagement Specialist to lead the development of Oracle Fusion EPM functionality within the organisations finance environment.
This exciting opportunity will see you play a critical role in shaping future budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring the new system is embedded effectively and delivers maximum benefit for users.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage delivery of the Oracle Fusion EPM implementation aligning with the Scottish Government’s programme and timelines.
· Quickly build subject matter knowledge of current budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
· Optimise and develop future-state budget management processes using Oracle EPM functionality.
· Support and influence stakeholders through the change process, leading cutover activities and delivering training and guidance materials.
· Test and evaluate the proposed solution and integration points, ensuring data integrity and system usability.
· Explore Smartview capabilities for bulk data uploads and budget manager engagement.
Essential Skills & Experience:
· Proven track record in delivering new system implementations or significant process change projects.
· Experienced management accountant with a deep understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes (including staff forecasting, contingency management, budget phasing).
· Strong analytical skills with an ability to design pragmatic ‘to-be’ solutions.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills – able to translate technical information for non-finance users.
· Advanced Excel user with experience in Smartview.
· Flexible, adaptable and solution-oriented.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
· Recognised management accounting qualification (CIMA or equivalent).
· Experience with Oracle Fusion applications.
· Smartview report and template development.
· Knowledge of VBA/Power Query.
Working Arrangements:
· Hybrid working – weekly presence required in Edinburgh office
· Flexible working hours – 7.4 hours per day.
Security Clearance:
Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) required – initiated at offer stage.
