Drilling Pipe Inspector

Role Description
Our client is looking for a dedicated Drilling Pipe Inspector to join their team on a full-time, on site basis. This role is based in Dyce, Aberdeen.
The inspector will be a competent individual, who can assess DP and BHA thread condition in detail, providing recommendations to resolve issues.
Qualifications
· Knowledge of API, DS1 and NS2 inspection standards for Drill Pipe and BHA.
· MPI ASNT Level 2 certified
· Able to read and interpret specifications and procedures
· Capacity to understand and record results of inspection and tests.
· Capable of performing non-destructive examination using ultrasonic, magnetic particle and visual methods.
