As a Senior Carer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting and guiding a team of carers, ensuring person-centred care is at the forefront of everything we do. You’ll oversee care delivery, supervise staff, and work alongside healthcare professionals to meet the needs of residents.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Carer, your duties will be varied and impactful, with responsibilities including: * Supervising and Supporting Care Staff: Leading the care team, providing guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support to ensure care standards are consistently met.
* Managing Care Plans: Overseeing the development, implementation, and review of care plans, ensuring that each resident’s needs are met with a tailored approach.
* Medication Management: Administering medications safely and in compliance with regulations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates.
* Collaboration with Families and Healthcare Professionals: Building positive relationships with resident’s families and working with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any concerns.
* Monitoring and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records and reporting on any changes in the health or well-being of residents.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, we are looking for individuals who have strong leadership abilities, a passion for care, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have: * SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
* Experience in a Senior Care Role: Previous experience in a supervisory care role, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
* Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong decision-making, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Senior Carer Pay Rates
* Weekdays: £12.95 – £14.05 per hour
* Saturdays and Sundays: £13.95 – £14.70 per hour
Shift Patterns
* Day Shifts: 08:00 – 20:00
* Night Shifts: 20:00 – 08:00
