Senior Carer – Lead and Inspire in Kirkcaldy

Pay Rates:
* Weekdays: £12.95 – £14.05 per hour
* Saturdays & Sundays: £13.95 – £14.70 per hour

Shift Patterns:
* Day Shifts: 08:00 – 20:00
* Night Shifts: 20:00 – 08:00

What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Carer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that every resident receives the highest standard of care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Leading and Supporting the Care Team: Guiding your colleagues to ensure that all care provided is personalised, effective, and of the highest standard.
* Medication Management: Administering and overseeing the safe and accurate handling of medications, with full compliance and clear documentation.
* Care Plan Oversight: Reviewing and updating care plans to ensure they meet the evolving needs of each resident, providing a tailored approach to care.
* Liaising with Families and Healthcare Professionals: Building strong, supportive relationships with families and health professionals, ensuring all parties are aligned in the care approach.
* Monitoring Well-being: Observing resident’s physical and emotional well-being, acting promptly to address concerns and enhance their quality of life.

What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
* SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
* Previous Senior Care Experience: Experience in leading a team and delivering high-quality care to residents.
* Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: The ability to motivate and support your team while maintaining excellent communication with all stakeholders.
* A Compassionate Approach: A patient, professional attitude that makes residents feel valued and respected.
