Are you an immediately available and highly organised administrator looking for your next opportunity?

Our public sector client is seeking an Admin Officer to support their Public Health programme.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be a highly organised and adaptable individual with strong communication, digital, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and preparing documentation.
  • Use Microsoft 365 and other digital tools (e.g., Canva, Vyond) to support communications and content creation.
  • Monitor multiple mailboxes and coordinate national-level meetings, events, and webinars.
  • Assist in diary management, note-taking, and action tracking.
  • Support the development of accessible education materials, including video captioning and transcripts.

What You’ll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, handling correspondence and supporting meetings.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience liaising across teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in health, social care, or education environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, MS Sway, and MS Forms.
  • Knowledge of GDPR principles and data privacy.
  • Experience supporting online meetings, webinars, and accessibility features.

Additional Information

  • The position is primarily remote although candidates must be able to commute to either the Glasgow or Edinburgh office when required.
  • Contract until 31st Match 2025
