Business Continuity Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the delivery of our clients IT operations Business Continuity Management work programme.
This contract would be based at our clients offices in Edinburgh with some occasional travel to Glasgow.

Job description:
– Updating of current Business Continuity plans for the IT Service Operations Division within.
– Updating and refinement of the ICT Disaster Recovery Planning for the clients internal IT operations and services.
– Help develop and continuously improve all aspects of business continuity strategy and delivery on behalf of the organisation.
– Support the development, implementation and delivery of Business Continuity management and technical practices.

Essential/ desired skills:
– Experience of applying business continuity policy to support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery work programme deliverables.
– Practical knowledge of business processes, identifying potential risks and contingencies for these.
– Effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication.
– Demonstrates good stakeholder engagement.
– Plans, schedules and monitors work to meet time, cost and quality targets.
– Possess a general understanding of the business applications of IT including an understanding of ISO/IEC 27031:2011.

All applicants should hold a Basic disclosure.

This would be a six month contract initially working Monday to Friday between the hours 8am to 6pm.
