Description

Our client in Aberdeen are recruiting for IT Project Support on a 6 month placement to cover a broad range of duties that will complement exiting roles of the IT Manager in supporting the IT requirements of the business

The typical working week will be 37 hours per week ( Monday – Friday ) with a pro rata annual salary of £29,759 plus holiday accrual

Main duties of the role:

* Carry out an audit of corporate IT documentation and produce a plan for addressing identified requirements
* Support the delivery of ongoing IT projects (such as hardware refreshes)
* Assist with SharePoint Online development and migration
* Act as primary point of contact for mobile device support
* Lead in delivering a review of cyber security practices
* Become familiar with OneLAN display/messaging system and assist with a plan to maximise business benefit
* Provide routine support for hardware (such as laptops, printers, teleconference and videoconference)
* Assist with the development of technology strategies (e.g. Digital Strategy, GIS implementation strategy)
* Provide additional technical expertise during IT project consultation
* Help deliver IT inductions as appropriate

* Develop, implement, maintain and review systems and service standards to ensure professional excellence and expertise and value for money

* Successfully manage, support and stretch self and team to deliver agreed goals and objectives
* Show a positive approach in keeping their own and the team’s efforts focused on the goals that really matter
* Plan ahead but reassess workloads and priorities if situations change or people are facing conflicting demands
