Another year has passed, think back to January, what resolutions did you make? Have you stuck to your big plans for 2015? Have you achieved your goals?

Many people are saying goodbye to the traditional 9-5 permanent working model. As travel becomes ever easier, many people are working for a few months, heading abroad for an adventure or new experience, returning and working some more, before exploring somewhere else. Do you want to develop new skills or work in a different sector?
There are plenty of sectors with skills shortages crying out for new people, from Teaching, Midwifery, Engineering to practically anything in the IT sector. These areas are full of opportunities with excellent career prospects. Many courses can be done on a part time basis and temporary working is an excellent choice for those wanting to earn while they learn. New year, new job?
The job market is becoming increasingly Candidate led, meaning there are more opportunities than in the past 5 years and companies are improving their offerings to try and entice you. According to the RECs Recruitment Industry Trends Survey, 634,000 found a permanent job through a recruiter in 2014/15. The agencies surveyed in this report also forecasted a strong growth of 31% in 2016 for their permanent recruitment services, compared to 22% in 2015. It is the perfect time to find out what opportunities are available to you right now.
