ASA Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside our client based in the South Lanarkshire area to find an experienced Asset Integrity Engineer.

In this permanent role you will have:
· Process, Mechanical, Chemical and/or Control and Instrumentation Engineering Background
· Preferably degree qualified in the above disciplines
· Knowledge of water injection system
· Knowledge of water treatment technologies
· Full process knowledge of plant essential to fully support the entire water injection system.
· Knowledge of automated systems, rotating equipment, coarse filtration, cartridge filtration, HP pump, variant forms of deaeration, micro/ultra/nono/ro filtration membrane technology, chemicals for water treatment and flow assurance injection
· Has a basic understanding of the Portuguese and/or French languages

Main Duties:
? Provide operational & technical outputs for an assets water injection system, which shall include but not limited to:
o Production and submission of performance reports to the customer on a weekly / monthly basis and 6 monthly reporting where necessary
o Daily remote monitoring of the asset through OSIsoft PI system
o Logging Customer or field engineer technical Queries and subsequently concluding a closure of such within the department
o Alerting customers per early event detection of system problems
o Benchmark reviews by customer or globally the water injection systems to evaluate value hotspots for performance gains
o Establish best practices across all sites and capture sales potential sales opportunities for engineering enhancements on offshore systems.
? Develop & maintain operational related procedures on a bespoke basis for each asset, such as membrane cleaning procedures
? Provide and maintain technical support for advancement or development of seawater membrane based processes on an internal basis
? Participate in customer meetings and sales support when necessary
? Participate in offshore visits periodically to gain further support knowledge of the asset to improve monitoring and system performance
? Troubleshooting of plant operational problems as required and engaging with the relevant internal departments for resolution on the topic
? Incident, fault audits & investigations identifying root cause problems (Root Cause Analysis) & providing solutions.
? Undertaking other duties that may be required from time to time
