Are you a Part-Qualified Accountant looking for a new challenge in the public sector?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large scale Public body are on the search for two problem solving Part-Qualified Accountants to join an expanding, vibrant operational finance team in Central Glasgow

The Role:

• Responsible for authorising incoming payments and comprehensive 360 degree upkeep of all payment records
• Working with key company stakeholders to identify overall budget requirements and reconcile on-going costs
• Compiling reports including returns and VAT returns
• Providing business wide financial advice
• Planning for annual accounts preparation

Successful candidates for role will need:

• Be currently studying for a CCAB professional accountancy qualification
• To be proactive with performance management with and ability to identify training needs
• Must be credible with staff, creating conditions to build confident and effective teams that empower, value, develop and motivate people
• Experience of project finance preferably with knowledge of Scottish Government policies and systems
