Description

We are looking for experienced Cooks to work in care homes in various areas of West Lothian.

Locations: Livingston/Bathgate/Linlithgow/Falkirk

As a Cook in a care home, you will be expected to have previous experience in a similar role, the confidence to lead a small team, follow recipes and adhere to allergen requests. Shifts times/patterns are varied and tend to be sociable hours between the times of 8am – 6pm, working Monday to Saturday.

As a temporary worker, you will be placed as close to your home as possible, ongoing contracts are available but you will work in various care homes in West Lothian to begin with.

To be eligible to work as a Cook in a care environment you must have the following:

· A full PVG (application via ASA – full PVG £59/PVG update £18)
· At least 6 months experience as a Cook in a similar kitchen
· Two business references relevant to the role
· Food hygiene certificate
