As a Finance Assistant, you will be working within the Pay Control and Employee Benefits team as part of our West Lothian based client’s Human Resources Services.

This integral position will see the successful Finance Assistant carry out duties relating to the Employee Benefit Scheme our client in West Lothian has in place in addition to ensuring the update of HR and payroll information on their HR Information System.

The Finance Assistant will manage files, be involved in the control and reconciliation procedures in connection with the calculation and distribution of salaries for employees and pensioners. Payroll reconciliation will include knowledge in BACS, income tax, national insurance, net pays and postings to the Financial Ledger. Customer service experience would be advantageous to the role as the Finance Assistant will be handling payroll enquiries.

In order to be considered for the role of Finance Assistant based in West Lothian you must:

· Have previous experience working within payroll
· Have been educated to at least HNC/HND level
· Be able to adhere to tight deadlines to both a high standard and impeccable degree of accuracy
· Be confident in varying IT systems
· Be a confident communicator
