Cyber Security Analyst

Description

Our client is in need of a Cyber Security Specialist to join an existing IT Team within our their offices in Edinburgh.
You will become part of a highly skilled technical team that develops and supports the critical infrastructure that powers across several sites across Scotland.

As this is a integral role you must hold a degree in computer science and CCNA or equivalent, including CCNA Security.

Essential/ desired skills:
* It’s highly desirable if you hold CCNP or equivalent.
* Cyber security best practices.
* Managing secure enterprise networks, ideally Cisco and Juniper, across large or multiple sites and data centres.
* Designing, managing & monitoring solutions across multiple security domains.
* Network monitoring protocols.
* Network Security protocols.
* Experience with tapping and network monitoring.
* Knowledge of Cisco Firepower and ISE.
* Excellent documentation skills – Word, Excel, Visio.
* Working closely with Project and IT colleagues to build and advise on solutions.
* Ability to plan and prioritise your own workload effectively.
