Our Renfrewshire based clients are seeking an experienced locum Criminal Justice Social Worker for a fieldwork and throughcare role as a part of their Criminal Justice Service. Running for a minimum of three months with the view to extend, our local authority clients are seeking a diligent individual with experience in SA07 and RM2000 risk assessment tools.

You will be reporting to the Criminal Justice Service Manager and will hands on in CJSWR writing and the supervision of CPO’s and licensing with Renfrewshire. In addition to this, as a Criminal Justice Social Worker, you will be tasked with carrying out risk assessments and using both internal and external agencies to identify potential to re-offend. With this in mind, as mentioned, it is essential that you have a good understanding of SA07 and RM2000 risk assessment tools.

Further to this you will communicate and work in partnership with additional agencies such as psychologists, probation and community control officers etc. who are working to rehabilitate offenders.

In order to be considered for the role of locum Criminal Justice Social Worker in Renfrewshire, you must have:

· A degree or equivalent in Social Work
· Previous experience working within a Criminal Justice team
· Membership with the PVG scheme and willingness to undergo an update
· LS/CMI accreditation
· A UK Driver’s License and access to a car.
