ASA have been engaged by a global organisation with a large Glasgow based team looking to bring a Finance Assistant into their busy team. This role will focus heavily on cash allocation and liaising with the London based finance team in order to resolve issues. This position will suit a dynamic and ambitious individual from an accounting background who is keen to enter into a new continually growing, international organisation.
The Role:
– Allocating cash
– Managing financial accounts for external stakeholders
– Working with various teams in order to resolve issues as they arise
– Assisting with the resolution of unallocated cash
– Providing constructive feedback on issues which have resulted in mis-posting to unallocated cash
– Assisting business with any queries they have and with the collection process offering support with letters, calls etc.
– Ad hoc duties as required
The Person:
– A background in a finance or accounting role
– Experience dealing with queries and the ability to solve problems
– Excellent customer service focus and empathetic awareness
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Experience in conflict management
– Skilled in multi-tasking and planning
– Ability to prioritise workload and plan ahead
– Experience of operating to strict deadlines
This role offers a salary between £19,000 and £21,000 and a number of other great benefits indulging working for a global organisation.
