Description

ASA Recruitment are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. As a crucial member of our support staff, you will provide high-quality, person centred care to individuals with complex needs. You will be responsible for supporting clients in their daily activities and enhancing the overall well-being and independence of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
  • Foster meaningful and supportive relationships with clients through empathetic listening and engaging in social activities.
  • Provide companionship to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, care provided, and any relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with the care team, providing updates and insights into clients’ well-being.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably working with individuals with complex needs is Essential
  • CV covering 10 years work history
  • Driver (Preferred)
  • SVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (Preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including days, evenings and weekends
  • PVG Update required through ASA
  • Registration with the SSSC
