ASA Recruitment is seeking a skilled Cook to enhance our team and support our well-established client in North Ayrshire. The available Cook position involve working in a local care home within the Isle of Arran.

This opportunity offers a 4 on 4 off rota with the opportunity to stay within the island within your shift pattern both travel and accommodation will be paid for.

Our ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and dedicated. You should be able to work well with the existing kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities as a Cook:
Preparing, cooking, and serving meals
Adhering to dietary requirements
Monitoring and recording fridge and freezer temperatures
Proper use of equipment and accurate storage and labelling of produce
Managing portion control and waste

What We Offer:
Ongoing work with the opportunity to go permanent
Weekly pay, with rates from £13 on weekdays to £16 on weekends

Requirements as a Cook:
Food Hygiene and Allergens certificates
PVG for adults or willingness to get one
