Logistics Co-ordinator/Driver

Description

We are working with a global, leading, specialist Electrical Distributor based out of their Bridge of Don, Aberdeenshire regional hub who are looking to appoint an experienced warehouse operative/storeman and delivery driver.

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the successful candidate will, as a member of the logistics team, carry out general warehouse and delivery duties.
Key responsibilities of the role to include:
· Safe loading, unloading and handling of all stock.
· Safe racking and organisation of all stock.
· Complete and submit any related paperwork.
· Ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities and content.
· Drive safely and promptly to customer’s premises ensuring a professional service for customers.
· Ensure the vehicles are always clean and tidy.
· Be a professional representative for AEL when visiting customer premises.
· Keep a safe, tidy and clean place of work for you, other employees and visitors.
· Carry out daily safety checks on company vehicles and advise the Logistics Manager of any maintenance issues.
· Other duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor.

Candidates with suitable experience in stock management and delivery and with a clean drivers licence are invited to apply for this Aberdeenshire based role.
