Salary: £12-£16 per hour
Location: Anstruther, Fife
Contract: Temporary
Shifts: Day shift and Back shift
At ASA Recruitment we are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team at care homes in Anstruther. We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering the highest standard of care and support to support our Client’s residents, ensuring their dignity, well-being, and independence are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver person-centred care and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance, while ensuring dignity and respect.
Support residents with their nutritional needs by assisting with meals and drinks, and offering choices that meet dietary requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues, senior carers, and health care professionals to ensure the holistic care needs of each resident are met.
Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a safe and caring environment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care delivered, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Participate in ongoing training and development to continually enhance skills and knowledge.

Essential Criteria:
A minimum of 6 months of experience in a care setting within the last 3 years.
PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) membership, dated within the last 12 months, to facilitate a faster application process.
SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) registration, or the willingness to apply.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
A compassionate, empathetic, and professional approach to care delivery.
Flexibility and commitment to maintaining a high standard of care.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in working with older adults, including those with dementia, mobility issues, and other complex care needs.
Knowledge of care home regulations and best practices in care provision.
Manual Handling training provided
