Position: Care Assistant

Location: Local Authority Care Homes in and Around Fife. Areas include Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Leven, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath.

£12.00 – £16.00 per hour

About the Role:
ASA Recruitment is excited to offer opportunities for Care Assistants to join our team. You will be working in local authority care homes throughout Fife, delivering high-quality care and support to residents. Responsibilities
– Personal Care: Assist residents with daily personal hygiene routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
– Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
– Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
– Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in residents physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
– Safety Assurance: Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following established care plans and procedures.

Requirements
– PVG for Adults: Must be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
– SSSC Registration: Must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
– Experience: A minimum of 6 months of care experience within the last 3 years is required.
– Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work as part of a team.
– Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
