Senior Service Designer

Description

At ASA, we are seeking a Senior Service designer for our client who will contribute to creating or modifying transactions, products, and content across digital and offline channels.

You will work alongside the Service Managers and Programme Directors to develop design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support the design implementation of services, strategies and policies
• Advocate for inclusive, collaborative, user-centred service design practices
• Work with user researchers to understand and meet the needs of users
• Work with interaction design, content design and digital accessibility disciplines to create holistic patterns and service features
• Facilitate co-design with design teams
• Make and guide on design decisions

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to choose and apply appropriate under-centred design methods for different design life cycle phases and situations
• Communicate design approaches and insights effectively
• Knowledge of other user-centred design practices and experience collaborating with them for service deliver
• Promote the value of iterative design based on user feedback

Package

• 12-month contract
• Glasgow/Edinburgh based – hybrid working
• Inside IR35
