Are you passionate about research and public engagement and looking for a new job opportunity within the public sector?
ASA are currently working with a large-client looking who are looking for a skilled Research Support Officer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
· Research and Analysis: Support the internal team to plan and execute report publications. Assist with research analysis, design, data protection, and other considerations.
· Qualitative Analysis: Employ tools such as NVivo for ongoing analysis. Willingness to quickly learn new methods and software is essential.
· Fieldwork and Engagement: Participate in engagement activities and in-person events, ensuring meaningful participation in the listening project and the Inquiry.
· Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful operation and logistics of the project.
Essential Criteria
· Research Skills: Knowledge and experience of applying a range of social research methods, with an inter-sectional approach.
· Analytical Ability: Critically evaluate large data sets and research evidence accurately and perceptively.
· Communication: Ability to effectively communicate complex issues both orally and in writing.
· Organizational Skills: Experience in planning, reviewing, and prioritising work to deliver results.
· Education: A PhD or Master’s degree with practical experience in a relevant social science, public health, or related field with a focus on qualitative research methods.

Desirable Criteria:
· Technical Proficiency: Experience with qualitative data or mixed methods analysis software (e.g., NVivo or R) is preferred, or a willingness to learn at pace.
