Project Support Officer

Do you have experience working within business support and customer service looking for your next contract opportunity in the public sector?

ASA are currently working alongside a large-scale client who are looking to recruit a Project Support Officer with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships to join their team based in Glasgow.

Key responsibilities:
· Physically record legacy technical equipment across the city, including driving to satellite locations and transporting equipment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
· Familiarity with IT terminology and environments.
· Manage statistical data and reporting updates.
· Act as the main liaison between project stakeholders and external IT suppliers.
· Ensure compliance with team policies and procedures.
· Work with attention to detail, following instructions accurately.
· Handle pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
· Perform any additional duties as directed by the Project Team lead.

Key requirements:
· Desired qualifications in Business, Computing, or IT (HNC level or above).
· Essential: Valid driving license – Electric Vehicle (EV) Training provided.
· Previous manual handling experience.
· At least one year in a support role, preferably IT-related.

Skills Required:
· Excellent customer service and people skills
· Experience in working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
· Competent to proficient IT literacy.
· Good organisational skills.
· Capacity to manage workloads and maintain attention to detail.
