Job Title: Catering Supervisor
Location: Dunfermline (Local Authority School)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.00 – £19.80 per hour.

Are you a dynamic and experienced individual with a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional catering services? We are currently seeking a talented Catering Supervisor to join our team in Dunfermline. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the catering operations and contribute to the well-being of both adults and children in our care.

Responsibilities:

-Lead and supervise a team of catering staff to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
-Plan, organise, and coordinate the preparation and service of meals in accordance with dietary requirements and quality standards.
-Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
-Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering to waste and maximise efficiency.
-Provide training, guidance, and support to catering staff to assist their professional development and ensure high performance.
-Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
-Liaise with management any concerns
Requirements:
-Previous experience in a supervisory role within the catering or hospitality industry.
-Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
-Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
-Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
-PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certification required for both adults and children.
-Flexibility to work variable hours as required.
