Software Developer in Test

Description

Here at ASA, our client is looking for a Software Developer in Test who can adopt, manage and evolve the design and build of their platform.

You will be part of small test specialists making sure that the test plans are understood, integrated and delivered. They need someone who has specific testing experience with Java-based web services and microservices, both automated and manual, using a variety of tooling. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience developing automated tests to support CI/CD pipelines.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage test schedules
• Build and maintain test artefacts
  • Looking for future opportunities or blockers
• Identify operational improvements
• Support and work with third parties

Technical knowledge required:

• Best practice test approaches
• Test automation in CI/CD pipelines
• Selenium/WebDriver test automation
• Java and JavaScript
• BDD test tooling
• AWS environment experience

Must be able to:

• Making and guiding effective decisions
• Be able to manage and recommend decisions as risk and complexity arise
• Take ownership of problems
• Translate technical concepts between
  • Infrastructure
  • Delivery management
  • Service management
• Able to speak on behalf of the team

Package

• Outside IR35
• 6 months – possible extensions
• Remote/ hybrid (dependent on location)
