We are seeking a Content Designer to join a prominent public body. This role involves working on end-to-end service journeys, ensuring user goals are met and government policies are effectively delivered. The Content Designer will create and refine content for various platforms, making it accessible and easy to understand. They will collaborate with stakeholders, utilise data and user feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of content standards. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on user experience within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The role is being offered as an initial contract of 12 months and is inside IR35.
Responsibilities:
· Independently create and refine content for end-to-end services, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
· Implement appropriate content styles and standards as needed.
· Manage relationships with stakeholders, using evidence to justify decisions and balance priorities.
· Collaborate with user researchers to understand user needs and translate them into content design approaches.
· Participate in programme and project assurance activities and contribute to the broader Digital, Data, and Technology community through events and process reviews.
Requirements:
· Experience in web content writing, focusing on creating accessible and user-centred content.
· Ability to use data and user feedback to inform content creation and refinement.
· Proven track record of managing relationships with stakeholders.
· Familiarity with content publishing systems.
