Delivery Train Lead

The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Train Lead to support an ongoing programme by assisting the Delivery Train Manager in implementing Agile Release Train (ART) principles. This role involves managing and tracking delivery work streams across multiple functions within our programme using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth ART delivery, supporting agile teams, fostering a consistent transition to ART, and aiding in risk management processes.

Location:
The role can be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh on a hybrid basis. Some travel to other locations around Scotland will be necessary as required.

Responsibilities:
· Support the implementation of Agile Release Train (ART) principles within the programme.
· Manage and facilitate ongoing delivery across ART work streams within Jira Advanced Roadmaps.
· Aid in coaching team members for ART consistency and understanding of principles.
· Ensure effective communication among workstream members and track activities.
· Assist in risk management processes and support ART forums and sessions.

Requirements:
· Proven experience in Agile delivery within complex environments.
· Background in working within programmes utilising Scaled Agile principles.
· Experience collaborating across diverse functions and with multiple suppliers.
· Organised, systematic, and focused on delivery.
· A team player adaptable to changing programme and work stream needs.
· Familiarity with Jira (preferably Jira Advanced Roadmaps).

Contract Details:
· Initial 12-month contract.
· Inside IR35.
