Do you have HR experience?

ASA Recruitment are looking to source an HR Generalist to support a large Scottish public sector client. This long term contract role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area, to work on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would be;

Assisting employees with HR-related enquiries or requests, offering advice, and best practise approaches.
Lead on the clients recruitment process by identifying candidates and completing necessary recruitment paperwork, Preparing interview questions and notifications, and, where applicable, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts to workers.
Working with the People and Place Manager and assisting with the design of the people strategies and plans for the workforce, including identifying and retaining key talent and developing retention strategies.

So, what are we looking for?

Proven experience in an HR Administration role, with strong people skills
Great understanding of HR functions and best practices
Recruitment experience would be advantageous but not essential
