ASA Recruitment are looking for Desktop Support Analysts to become members of a Glasgow based clients Proactive and Hardware Teams.
This key role will support the build, delivery and installation of IT hardware (Desktop PC’s) across the client’s base. The installations will range from single devices to individual areas/departments to larger volumes as part of a project.
Duties will also include recycling existing devices by rebuilding and upgrading existing, as well as new devices, where appropriate.
Where the majority of your time they will be based in one location there may be occasional local travel to one of our clients’ other locations to support work demand and/or to cover for any absence so a full driving licence is required, although a car will be provided for your business use.
Desktop Support Analysts must have either relevant technical education or qualification or at least 2 years of IT experience in a Desktop support role with significant experience of performing hardware upgrade tasks or hold a Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent certified training in Microsoft Desktop operating systems.
You will also need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with Senior Managers.
Basic Disclosure Scotland will be required.
