ASA Recruitment are working with a large Scottish Council to recruit a highly experienced Occupational Therapist.

The occupational therapy role:
· Provide Specialist Occupational Therapy Assessments for adults and children living in the community.
· To provide an Assessment and Care Management Service
· To provide individual support to service users and carers where this is assessed as required.
· To contribute to the overall Assessment of Need where this is being co-ordinated by another staff member and be in active collaboration with service users, carers and other appropriate agencies, relevant Care Plans.
· To advise Senior Staff where, following assessment, it is deemed that equipment or adaptation to property is required that exceeds the Occupational Therapist’s delegated authority level.
· To identify unmet need and ensure this is reported using current mechanisms and provide service users and carers with appropriate training in the use of equipment provided.

Successful candidates will require:
· A degree in Occupational Therapy or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
· To be registered with the Health Professions Council
· A current driving licence would be preferred
