Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant?
ASA Recruitment are looking to source an experienced Administrative Assistant to support a large Scottish public sector inquiry. This long term contract role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area, to work on a hybrid basis.
If you started in this role today you would be…
- Provide general administrative support to the Inquiry, for example, covering reception, monitoring shared mailboxes, and ensuring that office supplies are maintained
- Maintain Inquiry’s premises by conducting regular checks of the office, ensuring office supplies are replenished, manage appointments with third-party vendors and supporting senior colleagues with Health and Safety provision and risk assessments
- Raising of purchase orders, settling invoices, managing expenses claims and general procurement of goods and services
- Assisting in the general running of the Inquiry’s oral hearings, providing a range of support including front of house services, as well as operating the Inquiry’s Audio Visual system to record and live stream web content
So, what are we looking for?
- Proven experience within an administrative background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
- Well organised individual with the ability to prioritise and plan workload
