ASA are seeking a Senior Content Designer to join our client who is a prominent public body in Scotland.
The organisation operates a key service to the public and is undergoing changes to improve their digital offering, and as such is looking to expand its team with the creation of this role.
The role is based in The Scottish Borders area with hybrid working.
The role is an initial contract of 6-months and is inside of IR35.
The Role:
This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating engaging content and has demonstrable experience taking complex information and using it to make content that is easy to understand. The aim of this role is to revolutionise the way that services are delivered to users, mainly working on the website, newsletters and various touch points.

Responsibilities:
* Independently create and refine content for end-to-end services, simplifying complex language and processes to make them easily understandable. Provide guidance to others as needed.
* Adopt and implement suitable content styles and standards as required.
* Identify, assess, oversee, and nurture relationships with various stakeholders. Use evidence to clarify decisions and balance conflicting priorities.
* Take the lead in developing and executing content strategies, overseeing the evaluation of strategies and policies to ensure they meet business requirements.
* Collaborate with user researchers to gain insights into user demographics and needs, grounded in solid evidence.
* Prioritise and define methods for understanding user stories, guiding team members as necessary, and suggesting design approaches or services to meet these needs.
* Recommend the most effective content design tools and methodologies to use.
* Evaluate content generated by colleagues to ensure it aligns with digital standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
* Extensive track record in web content creation, emphasising accessible user-centric content development.
* Demonstrated experience in utilising data and user feedback for shaping and enhancing content.
* Proven ability in managing relationships with stakeholders effectively.
* Experience working with content publishing systems.
* Competent in managing people effectively.
* Skilled in leading teams and initiatives.
* Proficient in communication and engagement strategies.
* Able to analyse evidence and apply it effectively to make informed decisions.
