Are you an experienced Secretary, Executive Assistant or PA?

ASA Recruitment are looking to source an experienced Secretary to support the Executive Team within a large Scottish public sector inquiry. This long term contract role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area, to work on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Support the Executive Team in their day-to-day activity, acting as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, helping them manage conflicting priorities, as well as providing advice on pressing and critical business matters
• Build strong relationships with the Senior Management Team and other members of the Inquiry, gaining their trust, respecting their confidence and providing appropriate challenge
• Work alongside the Inquiry’s Communications Manager to ensure that communication and transparency are at the heart of the Inquiry, ensuring staff are kept informed of key decisions and direction given by the Secretary and Chair
• Maintain Teams lists logs to provide the audit trail of the Inquiry and monitor the recording of the work of the Inquiry in preparation for its eventual transfer

So, what are we looking for?

• Proven experience in PA/EA or Secretarial roles, supporting senior management
• Demonstrable experience of workload prioritisation with the ability to take initiative based on sound judgement
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to interact confidently with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
