Are you an experienced IT Project Manager looking for a new challenge?

A position has been made available within the central belt of Scotland for a part-time IT Project Manager to join their existing team. They are seeking someone with experience and expertise across a wide range of projects across IT and general business.

The role is offering an initial contract of 3-months with the option to extend further and is outside of IR35.

The Role:
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for a wide range of IT and business projects which will see you collaborating with various stakeholders including some 3rd parties to manage projects effectively. The projects will vary from being worked on from start to finish, or be taken on mid-way through, so it is important that the candidate be comfortable with this.

Responsibilities:
· Manage a variety of IT projects within the organisation’s portfolio.
· Handle projects of different sizes and complexities, spanning technical IT and business-focused areas.
· Take charge of projects from their inception or mid-flight, ensuring successful delivery.
· Assess project status using available documentation and collaborate with key stakeholders, including project teams and IT resources.
· Collaborate with third-party suppliers for technical and project management support.
· Utilise full-time and/or part-time project resources, including IT and business personnel.
· Collaborate with other Project Managers in IT Services to deliver assigned projects within the wider IT project portfolio.

Requirements:
· Hold a degree in an IT field or equivalent experience.
· The ability to manage projects using PRINCE2 methodology.
· The ability to manage complex projects and have demonstrable experience leading projects.
· Experience successfully taking over and deliver ongoing projects as a Project Manager.
· The ability to execute IT projects across diverse technology platforms.
· Experience managing resources within a matrix structure.
· Be able to produce technical project reports and deliver presentations.
· To possess strong analytical skills for complex reports and data.
· Apply knowledge of ITIL principles.

Package on Offer:
· Initial 3-month contract with the option to extend further.
· Outside of IR35.
· 3 days per week.
