Do you have public sector Procurement experience?

ASA Recruitment are working with Scotland’s largest public sector client to source a Procurement Manager. This role is suitable for candidates within travelling distance to Glasgow or Edinburgh, to work on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Leading on high value, high risk procurements, ensuring compliance with procurement legislation, and optimising value for money
• Gathering, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of data and information to facilitate management decisions, planning and performance reporting
• Advising on legal, policy and other requirements pertaining to procurement
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and suppliers, providing advice and guidance on procurement policies and procedures and best practice to stakeholders as required

So, what are we looking for?

• Public sector procurement experience would be highly advantageous
• Experience of the full end-to-end strategic procurement threshold process
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
